Culture
The organisation’s mission statement and values should be known to all staff. Staff should be supported to understand how their role and the activities they undertake contributes to the overall mission of the organisation.
Processes
Protocols and procedures should be clearly written and meaningful; and that all staff are inducted and adhere to the agreed protocols. Communication, reporting and feedback must flow smoothly within the organisation and reach everyone in a timely fashion.
Financial
Staff with budgetary responsibilities should have the training and full understanding of their allocated budgets; and utilise the resources in a creative way to maximise benefits. Timely expenditure reports should be available to ensure financial control is maintained and when required corrective measures are implemented swiftly.
