The directors of Ezey Care have extensive experience of successful service development and track record of significant achievements, few of which listed below:
- were part of the senior management team that led the successful closure of several long stay hospitals across the country and relocated services into the community based on ordinary living models and new concepts
- acquired a small charity that was running a small nursing home for 6 young people with profound learning disabilities and associate health problems. The home was facing financial difficulties and compliances issues. One of the directors was deployed to address the issues in the home and within a few months the financial deficits were turnround and a ‘Good’ rating was achieved from CQC inspection
- Conducting risk assessments and utilising Assistive Technology were able to remove several waking night staff
- Led a ‘Personalisation’ project in one of the London boroughs. This project entailed converting an old ‘block’ contract into 83 Individual Service Funds (ISF). This resulted in the 83 people receiving ISF giving them more control and choices for their service
- Successfully de-registered 24 care homes and re-design the services into ‘Supported Living’ model of support. This provided individuals with security of tenure and access to housing income.
- By applying the above-mentioned measures, the organisation was able to make significant savings for the commissioners enabling them to commission services for more people
